Lisa's Baby Shower

One of my bestest friends in the whole world is having her first baby, and it's a GIRL! We had the best time celebrating her! Our theme was Candy because little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice! Yummy!

Lisa and Daniel have nicknamed the baby "Shooglet". They call each other Sugar and she's having a little "piglet". :) So...the baby has become Shooglet. So cute!
The new mommy! She doesn't even look pregnant!Marie, Shannon, Lisa and I have been friends for almost 20 years! Wow, that makes me feel old!

All of Lisa's little nieces! She's going to be a great mommy because she has had so much practice being a great auntie!

Burpcloth lolllipops
Shannon made these cute party favors out of GIANT Cadbury chocolate bars!Shannon's sister, tracy, made the darling cake...and it was sooooo good! I can still taste it.Tracy even made the inside of the cake match our party colors! We made lollipop signs for the drink stationOne of our games was a drinking contest with baby bottles. It was so funny!!! This was one of my mistakes...I accidentally bought infant, slow flow bottles, so each bottle only had one suck hole! Ha!It's so fun to buy for a little girl!Chloe loves her Nanie!
My mom is the best. She stayed after the party and did ALL the dishes with Shannon's mom. That is true love!Chloe got tired of watching the present opening, so decided to play on the playground and found a fun new way to do the splits.

Sorry about the font and the underlining. I still have no idea what I am doing on this blog. I tried to change the font color and it wouldn't change, I can't find how to stop the underlining...EEK! Sorry! I think this is the first time I was able to write under the pictures. Maybe I will learn a new thing each time I do this...twice a year!

First "Real" Day of Kindergarten

well, my heart has officially broke! my baby, tyler, has gone to kindergarten, and i am a weeping mess. i have been crying since i dropped him off. he only goes for three hours, but it's the milestone that makes me sad. we will never have our lazy days again! he is gone from me forever! letting go and helping my kids become more independent is one of the hardest things for me as a mother. i want my kids to stay little forever! we have so much fun with them and love to hang out with them. the hardest thing for me was when i tried to kiss him goodbye, he acted embarrassed...isn't that a little early? if only he knew he was breaking my heart.

my house is so quiet. it's just me and the dog. i never thought this day would come, and now i don;t feel i'm ready for it. lord give me the strength.

i need to go have a good quiet time and lift his and chloe's little lives up to the lord. thank you lord for giving me the opportunity to mold these two little lives! help me to be the best mom and godly example i can be.

sorry for the sappiness. just being very "real"! :)

Our Trip to New York

We went to New York with our good friends, the Fabarez's and Ryan's mom Reeca and brother Jeremy. We spent the fourth of July there! It was a fun trip, but we had a couple of sicknesses. Chloe was really sick the first 2 days and Ryan got sick the last 2 days. Besides our sicknesses, we had a fun, busy, exhausting trip!...i have no idea how to put these pics in order..lindsey...HELP!
